Setting up your first product

Open the Calculator

Head to the Calculator tab in the sidebar, or click "Add product" from anywhere in the app.
Name your product

Give it something you'll recognise later in the tracker, e.g. "Wireless Earbuds Pro".
Enter your costs

Fill in supplier cost, shipping cost, packaging, ad spend, and any other costs. These add up to your total cost per unit.
Set your desired profit margin

Enter the margin you want to hit, e.g. 50%. MarginPilot works out a recommended selling price for you automatically.
Adjust your actual selling price

If you'd rather price manually, edit "Your selling price" directly — the profit, margin, and results all update live.
Check the results

Look at the two gauges: profit margin tells you how healthy the numbers are, and estimated chance of sale flags when your markup over supplier cost is high enough that buyers are unlikely to pay it, even if the margin looks great on paper.
Save it

Click Save product to add it to your Product Tracker. It'll also show up on your Dashboard.
Keep it up to date
